On Tuesday night, the Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves will wrap up their mini two-game interleague series as the Braves continue their push towards the postseason. The Braves have won four straight games and 12 of 14 overall, which includes a win and a loss to the Blue Jays just one week ago. Toronto, meanwhile, is coming off of a series loss to the Houston Astros. The Jays were no-hit by Justin Verlander in the series finale on Sunday, so the Braves will be a welcome change from the pitching dominance of Houston.

Despite their recent struggles, the Jays are watching one of their young hitters round into form in the final leg of the season. Prior to Sunday’s no-no, 2B Cavan Biggio had six hits in his previous four games and raised his batting average by 12 points over that stretch. Biggio and the rest of the Jays will be up against Braves’ starter Mike Foltynewicz.

Foltynewicz struggled against Toronto in his previous start. The righty failed to get out of the fifth inning and surrendered eight hits in the process. Generally, the advantage goes to the offense when a team faces a pitcher twice in a row, so look for the Jays to build on the success they had against Foltynewicz in Tuesday’s matchup (7:20 PM ET).
