The Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs are knotted at 2-2 after four games of their first-round Western Conference playoff. This series will return to AT&T Center for Game 6 on Thursday, time and station to be determined. San Antonio had the opportunity to take a 3-1 series lead Saturday afternoon but lost 117-103 as 4-point home favorites.

As the No. 2 seed in the West, the Nuggets were –230 favorites to win this series heading into the postseason. Despite their struggles thus far, Denver is still on top at –210 as they prepare for Game 5 at home on Tuesday (9:30 PM ET, NBA-TV). The No. 7 Spurs are 5.5-point underdogs at press time for that matchup with a total of 211.5.
Both teams are relatively healthy after four games, although Denver’s bench strength has been called into question. Back-up guard Will Barton has made just 29.3% of his field goals and is 4-of-16 from long range – despite making all three of his attempts on Saturday. Former Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas has yet to play in this series and is unlikely to make an impact after his latest comeback attempt from injury fell flat during the regular season.
