Twins-Yankees, ALDS Game 2 It took seven years, but the New York Yankees are finally back on top of the American League East. They’ll have home-field advantage for this year’s AL Division Series matchup with the Central champions, the Minnesota Twins. Game 2 will be Saturday in the Bronx, beginning at 5:07 PM ET on Fox Sports 1.

The two teams are keeping a lid on their starting rotations heading into Friday’s opener, but it looks like Masahiro Tanaka (4.45 ERA) is in line to start Game 2 for New York. Tanaka has the Yankees at 19-12 this year (Over 16-14-1) but has yet to face the Twins. 3B Gio Urshela (.889 OPS) expects to play despite tweaking his ankle during Sunday’s regular-season finale, while 1B Edwin Encarnacion (.875 OPS) also appears to have recovered from his strained oblique. Rumor has it that Minnesota’s choices for Saturday boil down to Jake Odorizzi (3.51 ERA) or a “bullpen game” with Randy Dobnak (1.59 ERA) getting the official start. Odorizzi has a team record of 21-9 with the Under at 19-10-1, splitting a pair of games against the Yankees; Dobnak has pitched just 28.1 innings in his rookie campaign, and none against New York.
